【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofasbestos-cementpipeforhydrostaticstrength,flexuralstrength,crushingstrength,straightness,anduncombinedcalciumhydroxide;theyareforuseinconjunctionwiththeindividualproductspecificationsforasbestos-cementpipe.1.2Testmethodsappearinthefollowingsections:1.3GuidelinesforinternalandexternalcorrosionincludedinSection9serveasanaidindeterminingthetypeofpipewhichshouldbespecifiedtomaximizeservicelifeforaparticularapplication.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Warning-Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,referto"SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures."1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificsafetyhazard,see1.5.>
