【摘要】:Tocontributetothemechanicalpropertiesrequiredinaproduct,tirebeadwiremusthavegoodadhesiontotherubbermatrix.Thisallowstherubbertoabsorbpartoftheenergy,distributingituniformlybetweenthereinforcingmaterialandtherubbercompound.Thistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofwiresinceithasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforthispurpose.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforpurchasespecificationrequirementsormanufacturingcontrolofbeadwire.5.1.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,testsamplesshouldbeusedthatareashomogeneousaspossible,thataredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andthatarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Othermaterialswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Thecharacteristicsofsinglefilamentsteelwiresthataffecttheadhesionpropertyarewirediameter,coatingcomposition,andcoatingmass.Thestorageconditions,age,andvulcanizationconditionsoftherubbercompoundwillaffectthetestresultsandmustbespecifiedbythesupplieroftherubbercompound.1.1Thistestmethodcoverproceduresfortestingthestrengthofadhesionofsingle-filamentwiretovulcanizedrubbercompounds.Themethodappliesto,butisnotlimitedto,wiremadefrombrass,bronze,orzinccoatedsteelwire.Theadhesionstrengthisexpressedasthemagnitudeofthepull-outforceforthesinglefilamentofwire.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletosingle-filamentwiresusedinreinforcedrubberproductsassinglefilamentsandisnormallyusedtoevaluatetheadhesionofsamplesofwiretoastandardrubberappliedunderspecifiedconditions.Itisprimarilyusedtoevaluatetirebeadwireandmaybeapplied,withmodificationsandbyagreementbetweensupplierandcustomer,tovariouswiretypesusedinrubberproductreinforcing.1.3ThistestmethodiswritteninSIunits.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See6.5.1.
