【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversanozone-resistingcrosslinkedrubberinsulationcompoundforelectricalwiresandcables.Thepolymershallconsistsubstantiallyofethylene-alkenecopolymer(EAM)orethylene-alkenedieneterpolymer(EADM).Thispolymertypeincludesethylenepropylenecopolymer(EPM)andethylenepropylenedieneterpolymer(EPDM).Thistypeofinsulationisconsideredsuitableforuseonwireorcablewhichwillbeusedinwetanddrylocationswithconductortemperaturesupto90?Cduringcontinuousoperation,to130Cduringemergencyoverloadconditions,andto250?Cduringshort-circuitconditions.Itisconsideredsuitableforallsizesandvoltageclassificationsofsingle-andmultiple-conductorpowercablesupto35000Vphase-to-phaseatthe100%insulationlevelandupto25000Vatthe133%insulationlevelaslistedinTable1D,ConductorSizes,InsulationThicknesses,TestVoltages,andCoronaExtinctionLevelsforEthylene-PropyleneRubberInsulation,ofTestMethodsD470.Single-conductorcablesshallhaveasupplementarycoveringovertheinsulation,andmultiple-conductorcablesshallhaveanoverallcovering.Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Inmanyinstancestheinsulationmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedwireorcableinthisspecificationsolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.
