【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversthebeneficialuseofcoalcombustionproducts(CCPs)forabatementofacidminedrainageandrevegetationforsurfaceminereclamationapplicationsrelatedtoareamining,contourmining,andmountaintopremovalmining.Itdoesnotapplytoundergroundminereclamationapplications.TherearemanyimportantdifferencesinphysicalandchemicalcharacteristicsthatexistamongthevarioustypesofCCPsavailableforuseinminereclamation.CCPsproposedforeachprojectmustbeinvestigatedthoroughlytodesignCCPplacementactivitiestomeettheprojectobjectives.Thisguideprovidesproceduresforconsiderationofengineering,economic,andenvironmentalfactorsinthedevelopmentofsuchapplications.1.2TheutilizationofCCPsunderthisguideisacomponentofapollutionpreventionprogram;GuideE1609describespollutionpreventionactivitiesinmoredetail.UtilizationofCCPsinthismannerconservesland,naturalresources,andenergy.1.3ThisguideappliestoCCPsproducedprimarilyfromthecombustionofcoal.1.4Thetesting,engineering,andconstructionpracticesforusingCCPsinminereclamationaresimilartogenerallyacceptedpracticesforusingothermaterials,includingcementandsoils,inminereclamation.1.5RegulationsgoverningtheuseofCCPsvarybystate.Theuserofthisguidehastheresponsibilitytodetermineandcomplywithapplicableregulations.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
