【摘要】:Thismethodmaybeusefulinassuringconformanceofapreparedsurfacetoprofilerequirementsspecifiedbythemanufacturerofaprotectivecoating.Thismethodincludesdeterminationofthepeakdensity(numberofprofilepeaksinaspecifieddistance).Someworkersinthefieldbelievethatoptimizingpeakheightandpeakdensitycanimprovecoatingadhesion.Thismethodallowsspecifierstoobjectivelydefinesurfacetextureafterabrasiveblastcleaningratherthanusingsubjectivetermssuchasx201C;angularpatternx201D;orx201C;denseanduniformpattern.x201D;1.1Thistestmethoddescribesashoporfieldprocedurefordeterminationoffourroughnesscharacteristicsofsurfacespreparedforpaintingbyabrasiveblasting.Theprocedureusesaportableskiddedornon-skiddedstylusprofiletracinginstrument.Thethreemeasuredcharacteristicsare:Rt,Rmax,andPc.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Ingeneral,thismethodshouldbelimitedtothemeasurementofsurfaceroughnesswhereRmaxisintherange10to150m(0.4to6mil)andwherethePeakCount,Pc,islessthan180peaks/cm(450peaks/in.).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
